This course will highlight the use of electric radiant heat as a primary and secondary heat source, the difference between electric and hydronic radiant heating solutions as well as the available types of electric radiant floor heat available on the market highlighting various applications and capabilities.

Learning Objectives:

  • List the various types of electric floor heating systems
  • Identify the properties of each system
  • Identify the difference between offering primary vs. secondary radiant heat
  • Identify suitable applications
  • Outline the installation process as it pertains to various subfloor materials
