Are you compliant? Employers in Minnesota are subject to new regulations and requirements as part of the new wage theft law including new recordkeeping requirements, additional requirements for data sharing with the Department of Labor & Industry, and new penalties and fines for builders found guilty of wage theft. This course will provide an overview of the major requirements with which employers must comply to avoid liability and the penalties for failure to comply.

Learning Objectives:

  • Recognize wage-related information that is required to be provided to new employees
  • Correctly identify required payroll information that employers need to provide to employees
  • Successfully learn how employers properly classify employees
  • Recognize how to ensure that employers properly pay all employees the compensation to which they are entitled

CE Credits:

  • MN Contractor – 1 Credits – BUSINESS MANAGEMENT

Note: This course is offered on January 15, 2020, February 12, 2020, and March 3, 2020 (only need to attend one date).
